What is Sabum AI?
Sabum AI is a free AI-powered mobile app that analyzes your Taekwondo technique videos. Upload a clip of your kick, pattern, or sparring, and get instant scoring from 1.0 to 10.0 with frame-by-frame feedback, personalized drills, and training plans. It supports both ITF and WT styles. "Sabum" (사범) means "instructor" in Korean.
Is Sabum AI free to use?
Yes. Sabum AI is free to start with 5 AI technique reviews per month. No account or credit card is required. Your very first analysis includes a full Pro-level breakdown — frame-by-frame feedback, drills, and a training plan — as a free gift. Premium plans with additional reviews and features are available inside the app.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Sabum AI requires no account, no signup, and no personal information. Download the app, upload a video, and get scored in seconds. All your data — scores, achievements, drills — stays on your device.
Does it support both ITF and WT Taekwondo?
Yes. Select your style during setup and all analysis, scoring, and drills are calibrated to your organization's technical standards. ITF analysis evaluates sine wave motion, theory of power, and patterns (tul). WT analysis evaluates poomsae scoring criteria, kyorugi zones, and Kukkiwon standards.
What happens to my videos after analysis?
Your videos are deleted immediately after analysis is complete. They exist on our server for seconds, not days. We do not store, review, or share your videos. The AI-generated analysis results (scores, feedback, drills) are saved locally on your device only.
What techniques can Sabum AI analyze?
Six categories: kicks (dollyo, yop, dwit, bandae, naeryo chagi), patterns (tul for ITF or poomsae for WT), sparring (matsogi or kyorugi), stances and blocks, power breaking, and special techniques like jumping and spinning kicks.
Is Sabum AI available on iPhone and Android?
Yes. Sabum AI is available on both iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. Download it free from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Sabum AI uses advanced AI vision to analyze your technique across multiple frames. It provides detailed feedback on stance, execution, power, and recovery. While AI analysis is highly informative, it is for educational guidance only and does not replace instruction from a certified Taekwondo instructor.
Can Sabum AI replace my instructor?
No. Sabum AI is designed to supplement your training, not replace certified instruction. Think of it as a training partner that helps you identify weaknesses and track progress between classes. Always train under qualified supervision.
How do I record the best video for analysis?
Film from the side with your full body visible. Use good lighting and a stable camera. For kicks and stances, 5-15 seconds is ideal. For sparring, up to 60 seconds. For patterns, up to 90 seconds. The AI works best when it can clearly see your technique from chamber to recovery.
What are premium plans?
Premium plans offer more AI reviews per month, additional drills per analysis, extended training plans, belt-level benchmarks, and PDF export. Plans are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You can manage or cancel anytime in your device settings.
